摘要: Banana (Musaceae) is one of the world’s most important fruit crops that widely cultivated in tropical countries for its valuable applications food industry. Its enormous by-products are an excellent source highly raw materials other industries by recycling agricultural waste. This prevents ultimate loss huge amount untapped biomass and environmental issues. review discusses extensively breakthrough utilization banana such as peels, leaves, pseudostem, stalk inflorescence various non-food serving thickening agent, coloring flavor, alternative macro micronutrients, nutraceuticals, livestock feed, natural fibers, sources bioactive compounds bio-fertilizers. Future prospects challenges key factors discussed association to sustainability feasibility utilizing these by-products. It all available be turned into commercial outputs order sustain this renewable resource provide additional income small scale farming without compromising quality safety competing with products.
