摘要: The use of blood samples as liquid biopsy is a label-free method for cancer diagnosis that offers benefits over traditional invasive techniques. Cell sorting by acoustic waves means to separate rare cells from based on their physical properties in label-free, contactless and biocompatible manner. Herein, we describe flow-through separation approach provides an efficient tumor (TCs) white (WBCs) microfluidic device, “THINUS-Chip” (Thin-Ultrasonic-Separator-Chip), actuated ultrasounds. We introduce the first time concept plate (PAW) applied acoustophoresis new strategy. It lies geometrical chip design: different other microseparators either bulk (BAW) or surface (SAW, SSAW tSAW), it allows polymeric materials without restrictions frequency work. demonstrate its ability perform high-throughput isolation TCs WBCs, allowing recovery rate 84% ± 8% with purity higher than 80% combined viability 85% at flow 80 μL/min (4.8 mL/h). THINUS-Chip performs cell fractionation low-cost manufacturing processes, opening door possible easy printing fabrication.
