摘要: This chapter discusses recent studies, which associate acute exposure to air pollution with short-term changes in daily deaths and hospital attendance. It also considers whether how far from vehicles is responsible for the increase asthma reported Western world. The studies are presented show that there a coherent consistent pattern of associations between airborne particles both mortality admissions respiratory cardiovascular disease. Many other report association symptoms illness particle exposure. Ground ozone has been consistently found aggravate disease, but its weak. There as yet relatively little evidence suggest risk factor developing asthma, although small research literature suggests it could be bronchitis. In USA, hospitalisation rates rose while levels traffic-related fell.
