Preliminary Mapping of the Deleted Region of Chromosome 9 in Bladder Cancer

摘要: Inactivation of a suppressor gene by deletion chromosome 9 is candidate initiating event in bladder carcinogenesis. We have used 13 polymorphic markers spanning the length order to map region human carcinomas. In majority tumors loss heterozygosity was found at all informative sites along chromosome, indicating entire chromosome. Nine had selective deletions 9. Mapping deleted these suggests that target located between D9S22 9q22 and D9S18 9p12-13.
