摘要: This study presents the results of large scale modelling water flow and analysis flow-induced stresses in a Francis turbine runner. The undergoes two stages. first stage deals with that has been investigated by using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) order to identify loads acting on blades. At second stage, finite element performed based pressure distributions calculated from CFD modelling. operational data recorded at Unit 2 Derbendikan power station have used as input calculations revealed zones high stress are situated trailing edge runner, which explains observed fatigue cracks these areas.
