摘要: Abstract Fatigue and cracks have occurred in many large hydraulic turbines after they were put into production. The are thought to be due dynamic stresses the runner caused by forces. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations that included spiral case, stay vane, guide draft tube run at various operating points analyze pressure distribution on surface stress characteristics fluid-structure interactions (FSI). Francis turbine most dangerous point then analyzed. results show forces during off-design one of main reasons for fatigue blade. can used optimize other critical components turbine.
