摘要: To determine the feasibility of MR imaging magnetically labeled cells, different cell lines were with monocrystalline iron oxide (MION) particles. Phantoms containing MION cells then assembled and imaged by at 1.5 T using T1-weighted T2-weighted pulse sequences. uptake ranged from 8.5 x 10(4) to 2.9 10(5) particles/cell for tumor (9L LX1, respectively) 10(6) 4.8 10(8) "professional phagocytes" (J774 peritoneal macrophages, respectively). On images, cell-internalized appeared hyperintense relative agar similar in aqueous solution. signal intensity varied according concentration within cells. Cell-internalized caused changes as did free MION; however, a dose that was an order magnitude lower, depending on sequence used. The detectability approximately 2 ng Fe, which corresponded cells/well or 5 10(3) macrophages/well. We conclude variety can be efficiently simple incubation. Intracellular labeling may used vivo tracking.
