摘要: Smart, green and resilient city paradigms have been mainly promoted through top-down practices. Hard infrastructures planning measures the engine for protecting reducing urban vulnerability in last decades. However, social networks community actions strengthening effectiveness of resilience many cases. The emergent global framework resilience, by Rockefeller Foundation, recognized key relevance such social-driven building, which requires a more accurate conceptualization further empirical evidences. This paper presents User-driven i) situating within smartness sustainability transitions, ii) framing other perspectives approaches to iii) highlighting roles communities tools building user-driven resilience. In order offer solid evidences supporting conceptualization, is framed 3 main parts covering very different contexts, addressing related neighborhoods built environment as whole, infrastructure systems, metabolic flows. The first part explores developing countries cities, where self-help practices constitute policy enabling build manage their own neighborhood. second refers decentralized management, from Colombian cases illustrate role maintaining green-infrastructures. dedicated change-agent effectiveness, networks, re-shaping sustainable uses resources (water energy). Case studies Singapore, South Africa Saudi Arabia support emerging perspective metabolism. The results suggest that thinking should be oriented though sustainability, contributions cities properly accounted strategies.
