摘要: Mammal diversity investigations in Vilnius were carried out 1992, 1998–2004. The following 51 mammal species registered the city: five of insectivores (Insectivora), 11 bats (Chiroptera), 18 rodents (Rodentia), two hares (Lagomorpha), carnivores (Carnivora) and four ungulates (Artiodactyla). Fourteen are included into Red Data Book Lithuania, namely pond bat, Brandt's barbastelle, brown long-eared noctule, Leisler's serotine northern particoloured birch mouse, mountain hare, stoat, bear otter. All insectivorous mammals city common.
