摘要: Between 1997-2000 there was investigated the abundance of barbastelle (Barbastella barbastellus) hibernating in Seskinė bunkers Vilnius. By comparing results animal this hibernation site 1985 with most recent results, observed number increase tendency these bats. Meanwhile, other bat species, Daubenton.s (Myotis daubentonii) and brown long-eared (Plecotus auritus) nearly stable over period several years. Recently, a new serotine (Eptesicus serotinus) has been site. Since found Lithuania live at northern edge range (Mitchell-Jones et al., 1999), part population should be more sensitive to climate changes than that living middle range.
