摘要: Abstract Air-quality regulation was recently judged to be the most important ecosystem service (ES) provided by open landscape in Israel. However, socioeconomic value of air-quality (AQR) may vary among distinct types providing it, especially where several drivers-of-change affect differently ES flux at types. Using a choice experiment, we assessed directly and indirectly AQR as reflected preferences towards that potentially provide it. We (a) based on national regional trade-off choices, (b) interaction respondent's characteristics with domain, (c) effect drivers change preferences. found both populations valued above all other attributes, willing pay $23 $68 preserve Furthermore, no-payment were still aiming ES. favoring preservation maquis shrubland not sustain desired levels would require further land management decisions. Although estimating human wellbeing is challenge, assessing regulating services' can support sustainable practices.
