摘要: The lateral line system in zebrafish is composed of a series organs called neuromasts, which are distributed over the body surface. Neuromasts contain clusters hair cells, surrounded by accessory cells. In this report we describe prox1 mRNA expression migrating primordium and neuromasts posterior line. Furthermore, using an antibody against Prox1 characterize protein different cell types within show distribution among supporting cells Functional analysis antisense morpholinos indicates that activity crucial for to differentiate properly acquire functionality, while having no role development other neuromasts.
