摘要: Abstract Australian Merino ewes and lambs producing fine fibre wool for export are raised in the north-west of Uruguay pasture-based systems. We studied status selenium iodine pregnant (10 per treatment) grazing natural pasture, pasture supplemented with Se (0.1 mg Se/kg dry matter intake) I (1 I/kg intake), or alone during last 30 days gestation. Further, we evaluated performance quality their offspring. Content sera ewes, offspring levels thyroidal hormones—TSH, T4, free T3 (FT3)—in were determined. The commercial parameters produced measured. Results showed normal serum (0.12–0.15 mg/l) (0.07–0.09 mg/kg DM) late pregnancy. observed increase content at lambing (0.11–0.16 improved (0.216 mg/l); however, not affected by supplementation. adequate (0.50–0.60 DM), which reflected blood values prior to (0.197–0.208 mg/l). However, lambing, decreased (0.150 supplementation did modify (0.163–0.175 An FT3 could be associated and/or pasture. No effect was observed. Lambs good results regarding after exhibited slightly wool. In conclusion, provides without any additional beneficial effects only Se.
