Structural and magnetic transformations of annealed Tb/Fe multilayers

摘要: Amorphous and crystalline sputtered Tb/Fe multilayers were annealed at different temperatures in a high-vacuum furnace investigated 300 K by x-ray diffraction conversion electron Mossbauer spectrometry order to study the effect of annealing on structural magnetic properties. At low temperature, we have evidenced an enhancement perpendicular anisotropy due demixing process which sharpens interfaces. intermediate temperatures, mixing layers progressively destroys layered structure and, finally, sample exhibits properties corresponding amorphous alloy. higher crystallization bcc-Fe hcp-Tb is observed.
