摘要: Joint hypermobility syndrome, also known as benign is a connective tissue disease characterized by joint instability, chronic pain, and minor skin changes. It shares many clinical features of Ehlers-Danlos Hypermobility Type; enough so that authorities consider them one process. Approximately 3% the general population believed to have but despite this high prevalence, due lack awareness, heterogeneity presentation, reliance on physical examination for diagnosis, it largely overlooked primary care physicians well specialists. This leads delayed or missed opportunities inappropriate interventions frustrate both providers patients. We review literature regarding pathophysiology, treatment options, prognosis advocate in differential diagnosis patients with pain.
