摘要: Body weight support (BWS) is frequently used to retrain standing and walking in persons post spinal cord injury (SCI), but the effects of leg unloading using BWS on H-reflex excitability this population are unknown. The purpose study was assess effect two different loading conditions soleus while with motor incomplete SCI (i-SCI) non-injured persons. Eight i-SCI (mean age 50.25 years) five 48.6 participated study. Specific control achieved a system. To compare reflex modulation at 40% versus 0% BWS, H-reflexes were evoked during normalized maximum M wave amplitude. These studies revealed that (1) significantly greater after exhibited even quiet standing; (2) no significant observed by change either or subjects. findings suggest respond similarly bilateral limb Our results up does not produce detectable changes i-SCI.
