摘要: Drosophila melanogaster has, in addition to the well characterized lamin Dmo, a second nuclear called C, which was recently defined by cDNA cloning. Here we characterize gene encoding C. It is composed of 4 exons and 3 introns, all interrupt coding sequence. No intron position C has counterpart Dmo gene, structure unrelated highly conserved structures vertebrate genes. Surprisingly, however, two three positions are also found currently known genes, have an additional 8 9 introns. Thus, genes from vertebrates invertebrates can be more closely related organization than earlier thought on basis only invertebrate The striking difference indicates that their ancestral separated metazoan evolution one may expected other invertebrates.
