摘要: Trypanosoma cruzi, the causative agent of Chagas’ disease (CD), is a substantial public health concern in Latin America. Laboratory mice inoculated with T. cruzi have served as important animal models acute CD. Host hypoferremic responses occur during infection; therefore, it has been hypothesized that requires iron for optimal growth host cells and, unlike extracellular pathogens, may benefit from responses. Recent technological improvements X-ray fluorescence are useful diagnostics or monitoring biomedical applications. The goal our study was to determine whether availabilities Swiss and C57BL/6 differ phase infection availability correlates oxidative stress susceptible resistant phenotypes identified these mice. Our results showed decrease levels skin infected correlated increase associated anemia reduction parasite burden.
