摘要: In this work, we propose a new type of thin-walled energy-absorbed structure with hollow columns that possesses design inspired by the beetle elytra. The failure mode bionic structures is firstly discussed developing theoretical model. energy absorption properties these bio-inspired multi-cell have been then investigated using nonlinear finite element simulations. values specific and crushing force effectiveness evaluated for different parametrized column nested configurations. Dynamic impact simulations tubes modes, wall thickness angles performed, results discussed.
