摘要: Abstract With the excellent energy absorption of tubular structures, axial crushing behavior tubes various section shapes has been extensively investigated, while multi-cell and honeycombs structures have designed to further improve their performance. However, there is lack unified criterion appropriately evaluate capacity structures. In this paper, a carefully set key performance indicators (KPIs) utilized assess compare absorbing polygonal tubes, honeycombs. A series diagrams related KPIs with non-dimensional parameters are presented demonstrate influence sectional configuration on as well effect cell number that package The work valuable engineering designs applications, studies absorbers other configurations.
