摘要: Abstract To study the collapse mode and energy absorption of triangular tubes, quasi-static axial compression experiments were carried out. Deformation curves modes revealed by experiments. Based on various combinations two basic folding elements, four potential proposed compared to predict mean crushing force tube theoretically. Numerical simulations applied suggest a fitted formula force. Both analytical numerical predictions with build an effective method tube.
