摘要: Consumer responses to three cost containment strategies for providing health care are examined. The data come from a random sample of 365 Los Angeles adults interviewed by telephone. It is found that aggregate negative toward two (labelled preferred provider and planning) positive the third self care). Furthermore, it demographic characteristics predict approval one strategy disapproval other strategies. These findings, coupled with models assessing how why segments consumers respond as they do, suggest no likely appeal all consumers.
