Learning systems and communities of practice for environmental decision making

摘要: This thesis explores learning for environmental decision making (EDM), from the viewpoints of what and who provide necessary support, how why practitioners engage in EDM. Learning systems communities practice (CoPs) are two main concepts used to frame interpret research. The empirical focus is on experiences involved a UKbased Masters level course European research project, 'learning EDM' perspective. study draws range theories informed by analysis discourses social learning. Conducting inquiries – one course-based, other project-based proved be an effective way researching multiorganisational contexts that characteristic Commonalities identified among different individuals' professional personal EDM means support.
