摘要: Abstract The processes of zeolite-assisted ethanol dewatering with further microwave (MW) zeolite dehydration has been studied. Both gas-phase and liquid-phase alcohol methods yielded absolute ethanol. Kinetic study showed that these can be performed under dynamic conditions, which is relevant from a scale-up viewpoint. concept “ in situ MW-assisted regeneration” was elaborated. Reduction energy consumption by 1.7 times 10-fold process time shortening shown for lab-scale MW dehydration, as compared to the corresponding thermal method. Hypothesis explaining reasons such dramatic saving proposed based on diffusion theory. influence irradiation structure studied powder X-ray diffractometry. results even after 20 regeneration cycles remained same initial sample. outlook discussed. A pilot-plant scale model continuous NaA following proposed.
