摘要: In order to understand more about the reproductive physiology of zebra mussel (Dreissena polymorpha), we have examined effect spawning on kinematics and fertilization ability their spermatozoa. Sperm morphology was characterized using scanning electron microscopy, differences in sperm were CASA following manual collection from gonad or induced by 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), spawned manually removed spermatozoa compared. D. polymorpha a tail 50 μm long, midpiece consisting four spherical mitochondria-rich regions approximately 0.6 diameter, conical nucleus 2.52 length, cylindrical acrosome 0.72 height width. Kinematic analysis revealed that exhibit significantly lower motion characteristics as compared sperm.
