摘要: We describe a previously unreported case of abscess formation around the right internal iliac artery (IIA) after coil embolization prior to endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). A 75-year-old man was admitted for elective common aneurysm. The IIA and EVAR procedures were uncomplicated assessment by postoperative computed tomography (CT) satisfactory. patient readmitted 2 weeks with buttock pain pyrexia. CT indicated an isolated coil-embolized IIA. successfully treated CT-guided percutaneous drainage.
