摘要: FOR many years chromosomal abnormalities in tumours seemed to be so variable that it most reasonable view them as epiphenomena. But banding techniques have revealed non-random several human and mammalian malignancies. The observation of relatively consistent translocations types leu kaemia lymphoma lends credence Boveri's hypothesis1 alterations are among the fundamental changes result malignancy. For example, Philadelphia (Ph1) translocation2 is observed 85–90% patients with chronic myelogenous leukaemia (CML), 8;21 translocation 10–15% acute myelocytic (AML)3,4. We report here that, when more complex structural occur, com parable patterns rearrangements found for both 9;22 translocations. This provides further sup port hypothesis.
