摘要: This research-in-progress study aims to extend the research on Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) collaborative learning by theoretically exploring role of virtual co-presence from an ecological perspective. Although a growing number researchers has started investigate behaviors digital native in MMOG environment, for theoretical justification behavior and motivational profile players is still under-researched. To bridge this gap, applies concepts ecology, namely biological interactions, integrates with technology-based streams explore patterns knowledge conversion MMOG. Based existing literatures, proposes two constructs based theory symbiosis field ecology interaction explain predict gamers’ participation mode game-based learning, Also, multiple method approach (including observation, self-reported survey focus group interview) test four hypotheses that advocate potentials future research.
