The effects of peer intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on MMOG game-based collaborative learning

摘要: We combined Massively Multiplayer Online Game and technology-based collaborative learning methods to examine peer motivational factors influencing intention learn; these have seldom been jointly examined. proposed two new constructs, intrinsic motivation extrinsic motivation, investigated their effect on a player's learn individually collaboratively. Our survey interview findings showed that an individual motivations had significantly positive influence his or her collaboratively individually. Implications for academics, educators, game developers, players are discussed.
