摘要: The impact of excessive sediment loads entering into the Great Barrier Reef lagoon has led to increased awareness land condition in grazing lands. Improved ground cover and have been identified as two important factors reducing loads. This paper reports economics regeneration using case studies for different types Fitzroy Basin. results suggest that reduction be achieved from more fertile (brigalow blackbutt) most efficient method allocating funds would through extension education. However less productive country (narrow leaved ironbark woodlands) incentives will required. analysis also highlights need further scientific data undertake similar financial assessments other locations Queensland.
