摘要: Changes in blood test values from the time of discharge an alcohol treatment program to 3-month I ollow-up were studied two consecutive series alcoholic men. The parallel combination a percent increase ‘y-glutamyltransferase (GGT) �20%, aspartate aminotransferase (SGOT) �40%, and alanine (SGPT) �20% over was developed as rule then crossvalidated identify those men who had resumed drinking at follow-up. Serial determination these three can be used distinguish recovering alcoholics remain abstinent f rom resume drinking. (Am J Psychiatry 1988; 145:595-599)
