摘要: An image processing system and method visually documents displays the in-vivo location from which a biopsy specimen was extracted, by pre-biopsy post-biopsy images. A composite is created emphasizes differences between Preferably three-dimensional, digitized images, displayable in various projections, are stored for archival purposes on computer readable media. processor (24) preferably exploits an optical correlator (30) to register images accurately. The then compared, voxel-by-voxel, detect displayed with synthetic colors, icons, or other visual clues emphasize probable locations.
