摘要: Abstract : In this thesis, we investigated the interaction of 100 keV protons with thin ice films grown under ultra-high vacuum conditions. We determined irradiation pure water produced an upper limit 0.04 O2/proton that stayed within film. Determination value came from thermally desorbing and measuring O2 released a quadrupole mass spectrometer. Irradiation solid oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen peroxide, oxygen/water mixtures led to significant ozone (03) production. quantified production using thermal desorption ultraviolet reflectance techniques. Direct did not yield any measurable signal. compared our results recent astronomical observations icy moons in outer solar system. Molecular created trapped by proton bombardment, seems insufficient account for oxygen absorption features (in visible spectrum) discovered on Ganymede. Ozone mixed-ice generates Hartley band ultraviolet) similar depth those seen Ganymede, Rhea, Dione. The difference laboratory position satellite suggests need revise assumptions concerning surface ice.
