摘要: We describe a hyphenation technique between HPLC and ICP-SFMS for ultra-trace arsenic speciation analysis. Exceptional analytical performance was achieved using MicroMist nebulizer preceded by high-pressure splitter. Despite 1 ∶ 7.5 flow splitting, the detection limits in range of 1.2 to 2.4 pg mL−1 were about two times lower than those obtained with concentric without any demonstrating applicability coupling conventional system (1.5 mL min−1 eluent flow) microflow This set-up offers an advantage on-line fraction collection either multidimensional chromatographic separation co-eluting As compounds or structural identification unknown sacrificing sensitivity. In addition, this showed good accuracy repeatability. The method applied determination freshwater fish samples from arsenic-rich lake, Moira Lake, Canada. Using cation-exchange chromatography, tetramethylarsonium ion (Tetra) detected first time. Moreover, pumpkinseed, Tetra found be major species, indicating that biomethylation pathway ecosystems may include tetramethyl stage.
