摘要: The uptake, processing and presentation of antigen by presenting cells (APCs) such as macrophages dendritic (DCs) plays a crucial role in the development vaccines immunotherapies against infectious diseases cancer. Liposomes are nanoparticles composed lipids/phospholipids that can be produced to exhibit properties mimicking those seen pathogens; thus empowering liposomes with an inherent adjuvant activity ability induce both humoral cell-mediated immune responses. In addition their adjuvanticity, deliver APCs large amounts antigen, immunostimulatory factors; they readily incorporate “danger” or DC maturation signals, surface-modified promote active targeting specific receptors on cells. also encapsulate form complexes (lipoplexes) plasmid DNA small interfering RNA, enabling these nucleic acids directly vaccine enhance Since manipulated, biocompatible biodegradable, efficacious good record safety, clearly attributes potent arsenals for manipulating function developing more effective cancer immunotherapies.
