摘要: Whale watching is the human activity of encountering cetaceans in their natural habitat for recreational and scientific purposes. Despite high diversity Peruvian waters, this has yet to be developed. Herein we present data regarding distribution humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) off northern Peru, evaluating possibility extending whale activities area. Data were obtained from surveys conducted an ecotourism boat. Humpbacks distributed shallow usually pairs or trios throughout study period between late July September.
