摘要: Two studies are reported in this paper. The object of learning both is the economic principle changes price as a function relative magnitude demand and supply. patterns variation invariance, defining conditions compared were built into pedagogical tools (text, graphs, worksheets). first study latest series aiming to test fundamental conjecture Variation Theory Learning that new meanings acquired from experiencing differences against background sameness, rather than sameness differences. compares outcomes under consistent with basic not theory. results support conjecture. second shows, however, theory cannot be decided unless learners’ pre-requisites for task question taken consideration. One set was found highly effective learners better initial grasp learning, while another equally weaker learning. two sets ineffective when used “wrong” group learners.
