摘要: Background Understanding the regulation of flavonoid pathway is important for maximising nutritional value crop plants and possibly enhancing their resistance towards pathogens. The 3'5'-hydroxylase (F3'5'H) enzyme functions at an branch point between flavonol anthocyanin synthesis, as evident from studies in petunia (Petunia hybrida), potato (Solanum tuberosum). present work involves identification characterisation a F3'5'H gene tomato lycopersicum), examination its putative role metabolism.
