摘要: Abstract High-performance liquid chromatography was evaluated for the rapid identification of Bacteroides species clinical interest. Each isolate inoculated into a defined chemical medium containing primarily carbohydrates and incubated aerobically at 37°C 1 h. After centrifugation, supernatants were placed on ice to stop further enzymatic reactions. Specimens injected an Aminex HPX-87H column in order determine acid metabolic products. Peak areas each compared with those uninoculated medium. As utilization indexes raffinose, lactose arabinose found be particularly significant, patterns carbohydrate could used species. This method can adapted diagnostic laboratory use has good potential automated microbial identification.
