摘要: Localized single cells can be lysed precisely and selectively using microbubbles optothermally generated by microsecond laser pulses. The shear stress from the microstreaming surrounding laser-induced direct contact with surface of expanding bubbles cause rupture targeted cell membranes. High-resolution single-cell lysis is demonstrated: adjacent to are not lysed. It also shown that only a portion membrane punctured this method. Both suspension adherent types in system, manipulation integrated for cell–cell interaction studies.
