摘要: It is often stated that venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV ECMO) should not be used in inotrope dependent patients. our practice to use VV ECMO most patients with respiratory failure even though many of these are receiving significant doses inotropes. Our objective was review the mode relation precannulation inotropes administered neonates treated for failure. Forty-three consecutive case notes were reviewed. Data collected basic demographic and parameters. Inotropic converted a single score ease comparison, one point equivalent 1 microg/kg/min dopamine. studied; 37(86%) 6 (14%) VA ECMO. Significant pre-ECMO inotropic support (score > 10) present 30 (70%) 43 cases. Of patients, 26 via survival rate 84%, while 4 75%. Inotrope scores fell nonsignificant levels ( 100).
