Perception of nursing students to two models of preceptorship in clinical training

摘要: Abstract Purpose This descriptive survey aimed at exploring nursing students' perception of two models preceptorship: Model A requires intensive mentorship while B increasing independence and self directed learning. Methods Convenience sample 110 students were recruited for this study. Fifty seven who in courses adult I II engaged Preceptorship A, 53 maternity pediatric model B. Moore's (2009) reliable "Preceptorship Evaluation Survey" was used data collection. It consists three dimensions: preceptor's performance, preceptorship support the practice site, preceptee satisfaction with clinical training experience. t -test, independent samples, analysis. Results The findings showed that participants' mean scores on each dimension: satisfaction, program support, as well performance domains (teacher, facilitator, role model, provider feedback, adept learning, advocate, socializer) significantly ( p Conclusions Participants perceived which incorporates mentoring more satisfactory than where learning is required.
