摘要: Abstract Passing from local converters backwards through the supply chain, nine major producers of polyolefin granulates were asked to declaration compliance (DoC) and supporting documentation (SD) underpinning safety substances potentially migrating into foods, as legally required in Europe. Within half a year request, DoCs delivered by granulate producers, but no SD. Only two provided very limited information addition their DoC. Some refused responsibility DoC (general disclaimer), which implies that customers should have done complete work – none them did. Virtually data was obtained on used other than specifically regulated monomers additives, about reaction products (including oligomeric material) impurities. Comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC×GC) generate semiquantitative pictures low molecular constituents granulates, visualizing extent expected. In conclusion, there is broad gap between legal requirements reality ought be eliminated. It does not seem technically impossible.
