摘要: Historically, due to the often overwhelming complexity of substances migrating from food contact materials (FCMs) into food, specific legislation in Europe started used manufacture these and articles. There are, however, FCMs with migrates almost exclusively consisting reaction products, such as those produced resins used, e.g. for coatings (epoxy resins, polyesters, organosols, trimellitic acid resins). Since products do not necessarily have same toxicological profile starting produce use authorized does rule out migration compounds endangering human health. The European framework Regulation 1935/2004 requires safety all food. Resolution AP2004/1 on Council puts emphasis evaluation migrants rather than that manufacturing then coatings. Nonetheless, Code Practice Coatings recently issued by industry focuses resins. authors this paper consider present situation unsatisfactory. It is duty respect legal requirements regulatory authorities ensure are met. recommend setting a time limit achieved.
