摘要: Abstract A bifurcation analysis of a finite thickness layer embedded in an infinite body different material properties is carried out. We investigate the conditions required for in-plane undulations confined to vicinity bimaterial interface develop from state homogeneous plane-strain tensile deformation. deformation plasticity theory employed, and influence hardening rates relative stiffness on strain assessed. Particular attention directed towards determining effect competition between instabilities localized shearing modes.
