摘要: Abstract Background There is controversy about the efficacy of currently used treatment modalities to alleviate migraine headaches. Objective We aimed evaluate and compare effects magnesium sulfate combined use dexamethasone/metoclopramide on relieving acute headache. Methods randomly divided 70 patients who had been referred an emergency department, into two equal groups with plans, analyzed pain severity at baseline using a numeric rating scale (NRS). gave one group other group, evaluated 20 min 1- 2-h intervals after infusion. Finally, we repeated-measure two-way analysis variance for intra- inter-group evaluations complications, respectively. Results found no significant differences in demographic data (8.2 vs. 8.0) between ( p = 0.36), 6.0 ± 2.4, 2.5 ± 2.9 Conclusions According results, was more effective fast-acting medication compared combination
