摘要: Abstract Migraine is a common primary headache disorder. A subset of patients may become disabled by frequent, severe, or treatment-refractory headache. Most respond adequately to drugs administered the oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous route. Intravenous therapy an option for treatment severe in monitored setting. The most scenario acute refractory emergency department. be undertaken with analgesics, such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and ketorolac, opioid, drug used specifically migraine. Among latter are antiemetic dopamine antagonists, dihydroergotamine, magnesium, valproate sodium, glucocorticoids. Some agents have been studied controlled trials but data too limited inform clinical guidelines. Larger placebo-controlled these other will needed better position intravenous strategies headache, chronic migraine, withdrawal during management medication overuse
