摘要: The antimicrobial activity of aqueous and methanolic extracts, as well partially purified proteins extracted from Terfezia claveryi extract were investigated against Staphylococcus aureus in vitro. A 5% inhibited the growth S. by 66.4%, while a was ineffective. Partial protein purification using ammonium sulphate precipitation revealed that within third fraction. This fraction then subjected to gel filtration Sephadex G-100. Two peaks obtained. Peak one possessed higher activity. peak ion exchange chromatography DEAE Sephadex. Only 4 six obtained showed slight Antimicrobial activities fractions compared with reference antibiotics.
