EPR of γ-induced defects and their effects on the photoluminescence in the glasses of the Ag0.05Ga0.05Ge0.95S2–Er2S3 system

摘要: Abstract Paramagnetic defects in erbium-doped γ-irradiated chalcogenide glasses were investigated by EPR method. Vacancy nature of and the dependence their concentration on irradiation dose erbium content determined. The measurement static magnetization revealed presence paramagnetic ferromagnetic subsystems caused isolated Er 3+ ions ion clusters, respectively. PL spectra 4f–4f transitions radiation mechanism investigated. It was determined that intensity depends number induced distribution which magnetic susceptibility.
