EPR of γ-induced paramagnetic centers in tellurite glasses

摘要: Abstract Intrinsic paramagnetic responses were observed in the 60TeO 2 –25ZnO–15Na O and 85TeO –15Na O mol% glasses, after γ-irradiation at room temperature: (1) a shoulder g 1  = g ∥  = 2.02 ± 0.01 an estimated ⊥  ~ 2.0 attributed to tellurium–oxygen hole center (TeOHC); (2) narrow resonance  = 1.9960 ± 0.0005 related modifiers (3) resolved 3  = 1.9700 ± 0.0005 ascribed tellurium electron (TeEC) of trapped oxygen vacancy (V + ) oxide structural center. It is suggested that creation (NBO − ,V pair follows mechanism where modifier molecule actuates as catalyser. An additional model for NBO radiolysis produced by proposed on basis evolution , intensities with increasing dose (kGy).
